Emotionally Focused Therapy
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a research-based model that provides a map for healing and closeness. EFT was developed by Sue Johnson and Les Greenberg as a way to address relational distress. Empirical research has demonstrated that 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery and 90% show significant improvement.

EFT utilizes an attachment-focused lens to understand how we consistently seek out connection with our partner but fail to feel like we are seen or wanted. Helping you understand and observe that dance in which each partner is accidentally taking part so we can then choreograph new steps will help each of you better understand the hurt and pain that underlies the frustration, disappointment, fear and shame that typically underlies our behaviors.
